Managing your trial and subscription
What happens when the trial ends, how to subscribe, and what a cancellation keeps.
New accounts start on a 7-day free trial (one per account) with no card on file: the whole platform for 3 maps and 3,000 photos in total. Here's how the money side works from there.
When the trial ends
Your account moves to Scout. Your projects stay viewable, and new raw-photo maps run on photo credits — up to 1,000 photos a map, one map at a time — until you choose a plan. Unused trial maps don't carry over. Nothing is charged automatically: the end of the trial is never a bill.
Subscribing
Pick a plan from the billing page and add payment to get included maps each month and your plan's larger map size. Subscribe by card during the trial and the plan starts when the trial ends, or straight away if you choose to start it now.
Cancelling
You can cancel from the billing page. When your subscription ends, included maps stop and the account carries on as Scout, with new raw-photo maps on photo credits.
Note
Deleting a project removes it from your account. The data you've downloaded is yours to keep regardless.
