Getting Started
Uploading your first project
Raw photos need no zip, a processed export does — and what happens after you hit upload.
Creating a project takes two decisions: what you're uploading, and what you want built.

Raw photos or a processed export?
- Raw drone photos — choose this if you're handing us the images off the drone. We run the full photogrammetry (this is the longer step).
- Processed export — choose this if you already ran DJI Terra (or similar) and want the viewer, tools, sharing, and reports on top of your existing output.
Preparing the upload
- Raw photos — nothing to zip. Tick I'm uploading raw photos, then drag them onto the drop area — or the folder holding them — or use Browse files. Your browser bundles them for you. One capture, one project: pick them all in one go — a second selection replaces the first.
- Processed export — this one is a zip. Zip the export folder (the .tif / .las / .obj outputs) and upload that one file; the deliverables panel reads it before you spend the bandwidth and shows what it can build.
- Raw photos, with surveyed control — the
gcp_list.txtgoes on the Control step, not in with the photos. Mixed in it is dropped without a warning, and the map comes back on GPS alone. - Either way — large uploads resume automatically after a dropped connection.
Choose what to build
On a raw-photo project you can pick Everything, 3D only, or 2D only. Building only what you need is faster — an oblique capture meant for a 3D model can skip the orthomosaic and elevation stages entirely.
After you upload
You'll see a live processing timeline — extract, reconstruct, quality check, publish. When it finishes you get an email, and the project opens in the viewer. If something goes wrong, the page explains what happened and what to do next.
